Just An Bui
An Bui grew up in San Antonio, Texas learning how to combine foods and flavors in interesting ways. “Without Asian grocery stores, cooking Vietnamese cuisine required creativity,” An shares. She brings this creative approach to deconstruct and detail her experiences with food and wine.
She has lived in Philadelphia, Taipei, New Orleans, and Seattle and is now based in Boulder, Colorado. In each location, An has explored the local and regional offerings, comparing and contrasting the flavors, textures and preparations to build her understanding of the various food cultures. Her travels have also taken her to LA, New York, Boston, Portland, Minneapolis/St. Paul, DC, San Francisco/Silicon Valley and many other places. These diverse experiences give her a broad base to draw from when evaluating wines.
